Viktor is an Associate Investment Advisor with IP Strategies of Canaccord Wealth Management.

Viktor brings global financial services experience, a high degree of technical product expertise, as well as in-depth analytical skills to our practice. While in a senior role within the Canadian division of Interactive Brokers equity and derivative business, he built technical skills across a wide range of financial products. In addition to managing a complex book of financial instruments he analyzed and executed various transactions in equity, options and futures markets.  His technical insight is built on a solid foundation of risk management, an ability to adapt and work efficiently under pressure and excellent client service. Viktor manages our research inflows, analytics and co-manages our overall client portfolios working closely with the other partners of IP Strategies.

Through his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Kiev, Viktor honed his analytical, mathematical and technical skills to apply to relevant financial computer modelling. This paired with an in-depth knowledge of quantitative finance, derivatives valuation and risk management models make him a valued addition to the portfolio management committee. Viktor has been dually licensed in Canada and the US. He is also fluent in Ukranian, Russian and Polish.

On a personal note Viktor enjoys life with his wife and two young sons.  Having recently moved from Montreal he unwinds by exploring local biking and hiking trails with his family in the beautiful Ottawa and Gatineau parks.
